From left to right (W to E):
- Evans Cliff descends to Charmouth which is just out of the picture.
- The golden Upper Greensand (which is much later than the Jurassic
but here lies on top) marks Stonebarrow Hill.
- A scatter of tiny waterfalls drop over the grey, Jurassic,
Belemnite Marls with the thin distinctive band known as the Belemnite Stone.
- Two more distinct waterfalls, Westhay Waterfall and Ridge Waterfall
drain the fields of Westhay Farm beneath Chardown Hill.
- Langdon Hill is the rounded, wooded shape behind the narrow, Vee
shaped notch of St. Gabriels Mouth, the outlet of a larger stream.
- The land rises as Weare Cliff with Kitwell's Cliff above it forms Golden Cap, the highest and most distinctive point on the coast.
- Beyond Golden Cap the distant, hazy cliffs around Bridport complete
the picture.
